There are those times when your having a few friends over and you want something different. Someone to help with entertaining so you don't have to do it all. Your already taking care of the parking, the meal, drinks, kids, dogs, atmosphere, etc. Let me help with setting the mood for a quiet evening or a not so quite happening. I can provide a full PA or a small, self contained sound system. I play Folk, Country, Americana, and Singer/Songwriter material in the style of James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Guy Clark and Garth Brooks, just to name a few. I was an acoustic soloist for the Grove Park Inn for over 5 years. So, if your having a BBQ and you wanna out do the neighbor, call Don.
Don and solo set-ups for when you don't need a full band
Drive South is represented by the songs "Carolina in the Pines" by M.M.Murphy and the instrumental tune Eat my Dust or "EMD" by David Grisman
Classic Trio are doing "Past the Point of Rescue" from country artist, Hal Katchum and "Pretty Woman" , a Roy Orbison Favorite. Also "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce and "Great Balls of Fire"made famous by Jerry Lee Lewis.
"A Farmer's Son" is a song by Steve Spurgin , which I am doing solo while using a TC Helicon Voicelive 3 for real-time harmony and vocal effects. Thanks for listening, Don
