Thanks to my good friend David Pendley of the Asheville, NC. based band, Whitewater Bluegrass Company, I was invited to do all the guitar work for Kristy Cox while she was in the area to perform at MerleFest 2016.  A huge tallent in Australia winning the first ever Bluegrass Recording of the Year Golden Guitar in 2015 for her track "One Heartbreak Away".  She is also winner of the Female Vocalist of the year and Entertainer of the Year honors at the 2013 Australian Independent Country Music Awards. A class act all the way. She made me feel most welcome and is one of the friendliest people you could ever meet or work with. We did The Isis Restaurant and Music Hall in Asheville,NC. and a small intimate listening room at Bottega in Hickory, NC. Then it was on to the 3 shows at MerleFest in Wilkesboro, NC.
